Culinary Creation: Jianbing
As part of my business, I launched a line of freshly made 'jianbing' at market. These Chinese-style crepes became a stalwart of my front-facing product line - inviting new customers in with our crepe making show and offering a new hot menu item once I was permitted to once again serve hot food after the pandemic.
My jianbing were both traditional and unconventional. I paid homage to traditional Chinese flavors with my original variety, and also experimented with flavors I personally adore, including a American Breakfast Style jianbing and a Jamacian Jerk Chicken Style jianbing.

Mapp'd Cooking Club
Mapp’d Cooking Club offered members a monthly culinary journey, exploring unique dishes from a variety of global cuisines. Through interactive online sessions, my teammate Katie and I guided guests step by step in preparing a full meal from start to finish. To ensure the highest quality ingredients while supporting local farmers and vendors, we sourced fresh, seasonal produce from our favorite farmers' markets and delivered curated ingredient crates straight to our guests’ doors. This branch of my business flourished during the COVID pandemic, bringing people together through cooking, even from a distance.


Culinary Creation: Ready-To-Cook Noodle Meals
I created a noodle line featuring Asian-inspired noodle dishes that became a staple at my farmers' market stand every weekend. Customers loved how easy it was—just follow a simple set of instructions, and they could enjoy a flavor-packed noodle meal any day of the week!


Culinary Creation: Globally Inspired Soups
A rotating selection of soups were a wildly popular menu item at the Mapp'd farmers market stand. I have also worked on soup label packaging design for other food businesses.


Culinary Creation: Catering
Catering both large and small events have remained a critical part of my culinary journey. I have catered interactive intimate dinners, corporate events, birthday parties, and weddings.


Culinary Creation: Heat and Serve Packaged Meals
I created a line of fully cooked meals, sold fresh at my 8 farmers' market locations. These meals were complex and included a primary protein, starch or vegetable, plus any additional accoutrements needed to round out the meal. These meals were the backbone of my business, particularly during the peak of the COVID_19 pandemic, whereby all food needed to be reheated at home.
